My $65 bookkeeping course turned into a client within 3 weeks

I dropped $65 on a basic QuickBooks online course through Udemy last month, not expecting much. Finished it in about two weeks of nap times and weekends, then put a post in a local moms group offering to help small shops organize their books. Landed a little bakery in Akron who paid me $150 to clean up their monthly files, and now they want me on a recurring schedule. Has anyone else found that a small skill investment paid off faster than they thought, or am I just lucky?
