Cura is easy to use slicing and printer control software developed by Ultimaker. https://www.ultimaker.com/pages/our-software
Thanks to Arland Woodham we have a basic set of Cura settings that should serve as a good place to start with the RigidBot. Some things you will want to measure and set for your specific printer and filament:
- Measure your filament diameter in several places along a length and enter the average of these measurements as your Filament Diameter on the Basic Settings tab.
- Stephen Holinaty has reported achieving better results after changing the Skirt - Line count from 2 to 4 in the Expert Settings, increasing the amount of filament that gets laid down outside the perimiter of the part (to help combat filament lost due to ooze).
How to use: In Cura go to file->open profile and load the ini.
