HOT END max temp error flag

Postby mikeandrews » 31 Dec 2015, 17:57

After overheating the thermistor which I then replaced with a substitute (Digikey SDF DF077s), Pronterface prevents all prints and insists that I fix the issue and remove the 'ERR:MAX TEMP' flag. I don't know how to remove this flag. Pronterface says 'send M9999' to RB. When i temporarily disconnect the thermistor lead a 'MIN TERMP error flag appears on both the Pronterface screen and the blue LCD screen. How do I remove that flag?

problem fixed. Installed the RB sourced correct value ( cold resistance approx 100k) thermistor and RB LCD screen reads 'Printer ready', top line reads '21 degrees C'. So be advised, unless you use the correct thermistor the Config file will send an error msg to RB blue screen that reads 'ERR: MAXTEMP'. Now to see if Pronterface can print again. ;) Thanks Skyler
