Incorrect Temperature Readings

Postby seancuttlefish » 12 Aug 2015, 14:55

So, I've built my RigidBot - which was quite fun. I've tested everything and thought I was ready to print, except for this problem. My temperature readouts for the head and the bed seem to be about 100 degrees to high! When I turn the printer on it tells me that the temperature of both is 117 degrees. I then try to insert some filament and the temperature of the head goes up past 200 degrees (allegedly) and I get a warning message and the head automatically cools down. It never gets hot enough to melt the PLA. After a while it goes back down to 117 degrees but is cool to touch. Any advice?
