Z-axis gets stuck

Postby AVataRR » 28 Dec 2014, 09:39

Hi All,

Wonder if anyone has any hints for this problem. I just put together my RigidBot and tried getting it to move. The X and Y axes are able to home properly but the Z axis gets stuck!.

The brass Z-nut is running up against the Z-rod connector and won't go down any further. It can't touch the bed! :( I thought the Z-rod connector might not be completely flush on the stepper motor, but it aint going down any further.....

Can someone pls help?

Thanks
Matt

Just readjusted the Z-axis connector so its lower. I originally had it so the threaded rod went all the way into the Z-axis connector. That makes the bulk way too high.
