No Fill

Troubleshooting for the mechanical elements of the RigidBot

No Fill

Postby blue2654 » 20 Oct 2014, 19:32

Can anyone tell me why this boss is being built like this, with no fill. In the process the fill is activated. The boss is thick and shows solid in the 3D model. The support inside the hole is OK. Just don't understand the reason for the gap in the boss between the inner and outer solid layers.

What slicer are you using?

In slic3r for instance there is a solid infill threshold area, this might be set to 0 mm2

I have no experience of that, but my comment stands about finding settings for a solid infill threshold. Or try specifying a different kind of infill, like honeycomb.

I can recommend Slic3r.
